AutoIntelligence Feed Control
A simple yet advanced electrical control system that manages all the machine’s electronics. While electrical systems on plant machinery are historically troublesome, AutoIntelligence overcomes this with a completely water and vibration-proof system designed and tested in the toughest environments. This system provides excellent usability, outstanding reliability, and alerts you when servicing is due or routine maintenance is recommended.
Overrun Brakes & Lockable Hitch
Features overrun brakes and a handbrake, complete with a cast lockable hitch.
Open Top Flywheel System
Delivers phenomenal velocity when chipping. The open-top flywheel system, featuring large gusseted draught fins at the rear, allows the Forst to throw chips right to the front of a wagon. Because the chip is thrown rather than blown, blockages caused by wet material are not a problem.
ForstGrip Feed Roller System
A unique feed roller system designed for exceptional crushing power. The ForstGrip top feed roller climbs on an arc toward the timber, pulling material toward the flywheel and naturally climbing butt ends for exceptional grip. Twin high-tension springs on either side of the roller, combined with its sheer weight and gravitational pull, ensure even the toughest forks and limbs are broken down.
Touch Button Feed Control
Features illuminated touch pads with IP69-rated feed controls to eliminate water and vibration issues. These are easily located on either side of the hopper, so you don’t have to lean over the hopper to operate them.
Folding Hopper
A fold-down hopper with a level feed tray and an open top for easy feeding of bushy material. A top bar hopper is also available as an option.
LED Lights
Equipped with LED lights as standard, which operate on both 12 and 24-volt systems. This eliminates the common problem of bulb failure.
Central Greasing Bank
All bearings requiring grease are easily maintained via a central greasing bank, ensuring there is no excuse for poor maintenance.
